Introducing Luke Mitchell, our latest celebrity crush. You can catch this talented (and gorgeous) actor on CBS The Code doubling as a Marine Corp captain. Did we mention he has an Australian accent? Find out who inspires Mitchell as an actor and what show he would love to co star in next in this issue of C’est Prune!
PRUNE: How did your acting career begin?
LUKE: I started taking acting classes in my early 20’s as a way to get out of my comfort zone. I was a shy kid and in desperate need of self-improvement. The more I did, the better I got and the more I found out about myself. I ended up falling in love with the craft of acting in the process.
PRUNE: You started your professional career in the soap, Neighbours. How did the part of Chris Knight help you grow in success?
LUKE: That was my first time being on a professional set and I loved ever second of it. It made me realize that I did want to pursue a career in acting.
PRUNE: Talk to us about your biggest career highlights thus far and the moments that have stuck out to you.

It put me on the map in the US & introduced me to the comic book world, for which I am forever grateful. “Blindspot” challenged me immensely as actor and also allowed me to live in NYC for the first time. And “The Code” has been the biggest gig of my career so far. A really wonderful experience that I will cherish for a long time. Continue reading
